So, I am finally back after quite a while not playing, and I must say the changes in 4.2 and 4.3 are pretty amazing so far. I am still getting my WoW legs back and will be updating again, so stay tuned!

I am also thinking of changing the format of this blog to make it a little more "specialized". Also stay tuned with that as I decide finally if I am going to do what I'm thinking about doing to it. ;-)

Before I go, I would like to share this with you guys. This is the best guide that I have ever tried out for World of Warcraft. Ever. Warcraft Conquest will change the way you play the game. They teach you, through video tutorials rather than 500 pages of crap, how to play and dominate the game. Everyone should give them a shot!

Now, let's see what he can do. For anyone searching for him, I would suggest downloading _NPCScan and _NPCScan Overlay. With these, you can see his exact path, which helps immensely when taming him.

Blood Death Knight into the mix!

So, I have been playing around with this build some; 31/06/02.
So far, I am rather confused on how exactly to play it. I have always played DPS classes, never tanking roles. It amazes me that I can survive just about anything, but I have no idea what my priority order is for this, so I have 0 DPS for regular play. If anyone has any ideas, post them in the comments below.

Worgen FTW!

Okay, so I finally tried out a Worgen.
Their starter area is pretty awesome. Very Victorian England. Perfect for the World of Warcraft "werewolf" race. The quests are great and truly progress the lore behind how they decided to join the Alliance and why they're not running wild in Duskwood like the rest of the Worgen.

My only real complaint, which was also my complaint with the Goblin starting area, is how short they are. But they do pack quite a bit of content and quests in the short play-time. Enjoy!

World of Warcraft Lag Spikes!

So, I have been one of the countless masses that have been hit with the "WoW Lag Spikes", so I haven't had much to write about. But I finally found a solution!
Apparently this problem is caused by "packet shaping" at AT&T's junctions on the Web. This apparently confuses the data going between WoW servers and your computer and causes these lag outs. This is also why most of us can still chat while we're having a lag spike, which I always found strange.

I have been using a service called WoW Tunnels (www.wowtunnels.com) which has fixed it for me. I have been using it for 3 days now, and haven't had a single lag spike since then. My ping has stayed consistently between 60 and 100 since then. No more 2800+ spikes! The service is $3.49 a month, and, to me at least, it's totally worth it until Blizzard and the ISPs can fix the problems going on right now. You can also try the service for free, but the limitation is that you'll get disconnected every 30 minutes without the paid service. And if you decide to go with this route, please put me down as referrer. gristlehead.

Edited Death Knight Build for patch 4.0.3

I have more information on the best Death Knight build currently:

To what I said below, now your glyphs should be:
Prime:
Glyph of Obliterate
Glyph of Frost Strike
Glyph of Howling Blast

Major:
Glyph of Death Grip

Minor:
Glyph of Resilient Grip
Glyph of Horn of Winter

Now, instead of just keeping Horn of Winter up, you also need to keep Pillar of Frost up whenever it's cooldown allows it. Other than that, build is the same, priority is the same.

Diseases up (Frost Fever now applied with Howling Blast)
Obliterate
Blood Strike
Frost Strike
Rime
Horn of Winter
Pillar of Frost

As usual, have fun with this and get to grinding!

One of the main classes, it seems, to have benefited from patch 4.0.1 is the Death Knight. Frost now has some insane DPS, even at lower levels!

This is the build I am currently using: here. This is the current elitisjerks build. If you are using it with a 2h weapon, use Unholy Presence, otherwise use Frost Presence.

The only thing I do not like with this build, since I am still leveling my Death Knight on the server that I play on now, is that there's not as much self-healing with this build. So expect a little downtime while you drink again. Blood is just not as viable as a leveling build since it has been redesigned to be the "tanking" build, but it still contains all the self healing, so I may try it out later to see.

Undead in 4.0.3

Anyone that has not done it yet, should go make a new Undead!

The new Undead starter area is unbelievable! I decided to start a new Undead Rogue (more on the rogue aspect later) after hearing about all the changes. Let me tell you; it is amazing! The absolute start is nearly identical, but once you get to Brill, things get interesting. New quests everywhere, the town looks more like Northrend Undead towns. And once you get to around level 15, the fun really starts!

Undead get to kinda preview Gilneas before everybody else. Now, instead of just running from Undercity to the Sepulcher, there are many quests all up and down that road now. This greatly streamlines leveling here. Plus, after doing all these quests, the end results is a quest line within the borders of Gilneas itself, albeit an instanced version of the town.

So, once again, anyone that plays Horde, and has not done so yet, should drop whatever they are doing and go make an Undead! And, if you so choose, make an Undead Hunter, since that combo is available now! Have fun!

New Druid Eclipse Skill in 4.0.1

Okay, so I have been playing around with my Druid again.

This new mechanism is fun as hell. The Eclipse mechanism actually makes it feel like my Balance Druid is not just "mash buttons over and over".

For those of you that haven't tried it out, Eclipse is a new bar that appears under your portrait in World of Warcraft. Essentially, what it is, is that you cast Arcane spells to build up your bar closer to the sun. When your bar hits the sun, your Nature spells are buffed and you start casting them instead. As you cast them, the bar will start progressing toward the moon instead. When it reaches the moon, your Arcane spells are buffed, and you start this rotation over again. This makes me think while casting, rather than just mashing buttons and has actually revived the fun that can be had playing a Druid in a DPS role in my opinion. Have fun!

Cataclysm Launcher Update

The new Cataclysm Launcher allows you to stream game data while you play. This will reduce the time you spend downloading, installing, and patching World of Warcraft. We'd like to get your feedback on the toolset and gameplay experience. Please head to the forums here for additional information.

Reforging

Players can now visit special Reforging NPCs in capital cities located near Enchanting trainers. 40% of any one secondary stat on an item can be can be allocated to add a new secondary stat to the item. The stat being added cannot already exist on the item. An item cannot have more than one reforged stat at a time, though the Reforging of an item can be undone and changed.

Copied Test Realm characters are not copied with their achievement history in order to better facilitate the character copy process.

Dungeons & Raids

Flexible Raid Lock System

All Wrath of the Lich King raids now use the new Flexible Raid Lock system. This system provides the opportunity for a character to defeat each raid zone's encounters once a week. A character may now complete the encounters during the week with different raids of either 10 or 25 players.

Icecrown Citadel

The Chill of the Throne effect has been removed.

Trial of the Crusader now uses the Dynamic Difficulty system found in Icecrown Citadel and The Ruby Sanctum.

Currency

PvE Currency Changes

All Emblems of Frost and Emblems of Triumph have been converted to new Justice Points.

Any dungeon or raid which awarded these emblems will reward Justice Points instead. Anything below Emblems of Triumph, including badges from The Burning Crusade dungeon and raid content, have been converted into gold and sent to players via the in-game mail system.

Any bosses players defeat that are level-appropriate to them award Justice Points.

All items that previously cost emblems or badges of any type now cost Justice Points.

Higher-tier Valor Points will be awarded to players who kill dungeon and raid bosses in the latest tier of PvE content after the launch of Cataclysm.

PvP Currency Changes

All Arena Points, Honor Points, Battleground Marks of Honor, Stone Keeper's Shards, Venture Coins, and Spirit Shards have been converted into new Honor Points.

Honor Points will be awarded instead of these currencies, with the exception of Arena Points.

Higher-tier Conquest Points will be awarded to players competing in each of the latest Arena or Rated Battleground seasons after the launch of Cataclysm.

Classes: General

Many class talents, spells, and abilities have been overhauled, added, or removed.

All spell and ability tooltips will now display damage averages rather than minimum and maximum damage potential. This feature is on by default but can be changed via the Display settings under User Interface options.

Ammo has been removed from the game.

The character levels at which classes gain new spells and abilities have changed.

Many item and class stats have been changed or removed.

Mastery rating has been added as a new stat which provides unique benefits for characters based on class and talent specialization. Mastery rating does not currently exist on items in the game, however, Reforging can be used to add Mastery rating as a secondary stat to existing items.

Rage has been normalized.

Spells and abilities no longer have multiple ranks and now scale with character level.

Talent trees have been altered. All player talent specializations have been reset, allowing for free re-specialization.

Each specialization has been reduced to a 31-point talent tree.

Players will now get a total of 41 talent points to spend.

Players will be asked to choose a specialization at level 10. Doing so will result in the unlocking of a spell or ability unique to that specialization, as well as one or more passive bonuses.

Once a talent specialization has been chosen, players may only place points in the primary tree until at least 31 points have been spent there.

Death Knights

A dedicated tanking tree (Blood) has been implemented.

The effects of Blood Presence and Frost Presence have been exchanged.

The way in which runes recharge has changed.

Druids

A new Eclipse mechanic has been added for druids.

Hunters

Five pets can now be stored with the hunter at all times. Any one of these five pets can be summoned via the Call Pet ability.

Focus has replaced mana as a new resource.

Hunters now start with a pet at level 1.

The Stable will now store 20 pets. If a pet is moved into the Stable, its talents are wiped.

Mages

There is now a new spell fly-out UI feature for mage portals. Clicking on the Teleport or Portal buttons will expand the list of choices available.

Paladins

Paladins now have a new resource bar.

Warlocks

There is now a new spell fly-out UI feature for warlock pets. Clicking on this single button will open up the list of available pets to summon.

Soul Shards have been removed from the game as items. Instead, they now exist as a resource system necessary for using, or altering the mechanics of certain spells.

Items

Resilience no longer reduces the chance a player will be critically hit by an opponent.

Durability: cloth, leather, and mail now have as many points of durability as plate, making the repair cost on death much closer to equal for all classes.

Professions

The glyph system has been updated to now feature three different types of glyphs. Many class glyphs have been added, altered, or moved to different glyph types.

User Interface

Spell Alerts have been added to notify players when procs on select spells and abilities occur. A visual notification will display around the character and the activated ability will be highlighted on the action bar.

The Arena Teams pane has been improved.

The Character pane has been redesigned. Character stats can now be shown or hidden via the Show All Details/Hide All Details button on the bottom left. When shown, all character stats will be visible in a window to the right of the pane. Stat sections can be reorganized by clicking and dragging them up or down the pane.

The Professions panes now have more filtering and search functionality, as well as buttons to easily link recipes in the chat frame.

A Professions screen has been added to the Spellbook to better display the details of a character's primary and secondary professions.

Many of the yellow System Messages that would display in the chat frame when leveling up have been removed.

New text animations now alert players as they level up, also providing information on when new talents, spells and abilities are available.

Professions and Class Trainers windows have been altered to more clearly display available and upcoming purchases.

New Raid frames are now. They can also be used in place of the standard 5-player party interface via the User Interface options.

The Spellbook interface has been improved for greater ease-of-use and visual appeal.

Experimental support for DX11 (enabled by passing '-d3d11' on the command line or adding SET gxApi "d3d11" to the Config.WTF file)
Wow! That's quite a bit for one patch, especially considering there will be one more before Cataclysm hits! This is just the patch where they change our stats and abilities to match what Cataclysm will be like. Still one more patch until the world gets cracked!
The one that I have noticed the biggest change with, even though it doesn't really get reflected in these patch notes, is the hunter. It is nothing like it was before to play! Now, hunters have focus bars rather than mana bars. While this may not seem like much of a change, wait until you try it. Abilities that you are used to are different. Many abilities no longer have a normal cooldown, but due to this, you may find yourself waiting on focus to regenerate. I am still playing around with it to see what has changed the most. Gold Grinding At Any Level

It is very easy to start making money in World of Warcraft from day one.

For anyone's first character, I would suggest making a dual gatherer. DO NOT make a crafting or Enchanting character until later. I would make a character with either mining, leatherworking, or herbalism. For starters, everything you find can be sold on the auction house for a nice profit. For seconds, you are not as likely to waste money leveling the crafting profession prematurely.
Quite a few people will blow every penny that they make leveling their crafting profession and never see the great returns that dual gathering can give. Sell everything on the auction house and you're rolling in the gold. Have fun!

A Quick Review of Warcraft Formula

Sometimes, real life gets in the way, but I'm back!

I came across a new product just a couple days ago at WarcraftFormula.com that is actually a bit different from all the other WoW guides out there right now. It’s not a guide for anything in particular – so it’s not only for leveling, gold making, PvP, or anything else. However, I think it may still end up being a fairly useful resource for most of you out there who are looking to improve upon those very areas.

The site is run by Brad Johnson and T Dub Sanders, two guide writers you might have heard of. Brad put together Warcraft Millionaire and a profession guide under the same title. T Dub did the PvP Bible – probably the best PvP guide on the market right now – and WotLK Secrets. They decided to come together on this one, using the “both of best worlds” angle to sell the product. It actually seems to have worked as the Warcraft Formula product is pretty decent from both angles.

Here’s the premise – you start out by paying $17. That initial payment gets you quite a bit. First, there’s a guide that is admittedly pretty useless for anyone that’s been around for a while – an Action Plan that guides players through setting up an account with their main, UI mods, alts, gear, guild signups, and end-game setups. It’s a great resource, but probably more so for casuals looking to get deeper into the game. Along with this though you get a monthly eBook that Brad and T Dub put out that contains about 30 pages of content on everything that happened in the last month in the game. In January for example, the guide talked about the upcoming 3.0.8 patch, gold making strategies at 2 months, and Death Knight nerfs and buffs. You get the current guide and all existing guides when you signup and then with a $17 monthly fee you get each guide monthly.

Coming from two consummate pros and produced to provide a wide variety of different bits of content each month covering everything from gold making and raiding to PvP (there’s a monthly PvP feature), the guide is pretty solid content and the price is definitely reasonable. If you’re looking for more up to date, pointed strategies each month, this is a good place to start.

Making money with cooking.

There are several great ways to make money with cooking in Lich King.
First and most obvious, max out your cooking. Currently, at least on my server, this is a cheap undertaking as most mats are dirt cheap.
Next, make several fish feast. These sell for a nice bit on my server and all the mats can be farmed in Wintergrasp during down time at the lake near the Alliance Flight Master.
Also, you can make some decent money flying around and gathering up all the recipes that vendors sell. Anything that you can get from an out of the way place will usually sell, as people are usually too lazy to go themselves to buy them. They would rather buy them from the Auction House out of convenience.

Chat Frame

Players can now right-click on any chat type (Whisper, Trade, General, Party, Raid, etc.) and choose the Pop Out Chat option. This will move that chat type to a separate tab in the Chat frame which can be undocked and moved anywhere on the screen.
- Using the Pop Out Chat option on a Whisper will place the conversation with that player in a separate tab.
- Any time a conversation with another player is put into its own tab, the tab will glow when a new message is received.
Hovering over the Chat Frame and using the mouse wheel will allow players to scroll through chat text.
Players can select Classic Mode under Interface Options to keep the Chat Frame functionality closer to what it was prior to patch 3.3.5.
The Simple Chat User Interface option has been removed.

Friends List

A new icon has been added to the top left of the Chat Frame which will open up the Friends list.
In addition to its current functionality, the Friends List will now allow players to add Battle.net accounts (Real ID). Players will have to confirm that they are friends in order for a Real ID to be added. Once Real ID friends, players can communicate cross-game, cross-faction and cross-realm.
A new Pending tab has been added where players can accept or decline a Real ID friend request, or select the Report Spam or Block Communications buttons.
Players can now select from three statuses which will be visible to their friends: Available, Away and Busy.
A Broadcast window has been added to the top of the frame. Players can use this to broadcast a message to all of their Real ID friends online. This message will also be displayed under the broadcaster’s Real ID information in each friend’s list.

This, to me, is very exciting! It means I no longer have to type in 30 friends' names whenever I start a new character. If I have their "Real ID", they're all synced. And, if I read this right, I will be able to chat, from World of Warcraft, with guildies and friends that are playing Starcraft II when it hits! "Once Real ID friends, players can communicate cross-game, cross-faction and cross-realm."
I also have friends scattered across several servers in WoW right now, including the people that started me playing over 3 years ago. They are still on a PvP server, while I have since switched to a PvE server (Archimonde to be precise) to have a more laid-back experience in the game.

I will be testing this out and letting you guys know as I find out new things and I can't wait for patch 3.3.9 to come! This will be the patch where we fight for Gnomeregan for the Gnomes and Echo Isles for the Trolls to link the stories between Wrath of the Lich King and Cataclysm! These will be interesting times indeed!

Don't WoW Without Protection! Top Tips to Keep From Getting Hacked.

I have learned a few things in the years that I have been playing World of Warcraft. One of the first was to try not to get hacked.
Every day, hundreds of player accounts get hacked. Here is some ways to prevent it, some common sense, some less so:

1. Never give anyone your password! This, I think, is the most common sense one of them.

2. Don't believe everything you get emailed. I get several dozen phising emails a day trying to get my login from me. Most of them look completely legitimate. The best thing I have found to do to verify them is to hover your mouse over the link that they give, and at the bottom of the browser window, in the information bar, it tells the address that the link goes to. If it doesn't say worldofwarcraft.com, blizzard.com or battle.net, it's bull. I get them all the time that are things like wor1dofwarcrraaftt.com and crap like that. Always check these out before you click on them, since the login screen looks just like the official one.

3. Buy an Authenticator or download the iPhone one. They only cost a few bucks and are pretty near un-hackable. I see it as a great investment to pay $6.50 plus shipping rather than have your account hacked, lose all your hard earned stuff, and pray that a GM will be able to restore it for you.

4. Change your password regularly. I usually change mine once a month. I have a few uber-Imba players that change theirs weekly, just because they have clocked so many hours on so many toons that it would be a disaster to lose what they have.

My Top 5 List of Farming Spots

This is my list of the top 5 spots that I usually use to farm for mats for the Auction House:

5. Herbalism - Wintergrasp. This and Ulduar are the only zone in the game where Frost Lotus spawns as it's own plant. So that means this is the only place to really farm it without a party.

4. Mining - Un'goro Crater. Great place to farm. Not many people farm here and lots of ore spawns.

3. Tailoring - If you need Frostweave Cloth, then Icecrown is still the best spot. But for farming for money, on my server, Frostweave is worthless.

2. Tailoring - For cash farming of cloth, I prefer to farm Wool Cloth. A good place to farm this is in the southeast corner of Westfall killing Riverpaw Mystics.

1. Mining - If I need to farm Titanium Ore, I usually hit Sholazar Basin or The Storm Peaks. Almost as good of spawn rates as Icecrown without all the competition.

I no longer sell my Thorium Ore. Instead I prospect it trying to get Azerothian Diamonds. They have been selling like crazy lately on my server, and for a better price than the raw ore, so I have bumped up my gold per hour just doing this. Enjoy!

My Top 4 Tips for Leveling to 80 the Fastest for the Casual Player

These are my top four tips for leveling quickly in World of Warcraft without burning yourself out.

1. Have the right addons. This is very important. First, for everyone, have QuestHelper. This is a must to powerlevel! It tells you the quickest, easiest route to optimize questing within each zone and helps you prioritize when to turn in quests. Doing one quest, turning it in, then moving on to the next quest is very inefficient. With this addon, you know what quests are nearby so you can end up turning in a bunch of quests at once and maximize efficiency. Also, for Hunters and Shamans, FloTotemBar and FloAspectBar are great. I have been using them on my hunter for a while now. They place your Aspects and Traps on their own bar above the bottom bars, freeing up your hot bar for attacks, which is always good. I am just now leveling a Shaman, so I'll write more later on after I determine how efficient it is compared to World of Warcraft's built in Shaman bar.
For Death Knights, might I suggest Magic Runes. It gives you a nice, big display of your Rune cooldowns, so you don't have to keep looking up at the little icons next to your portrait.

2. I have heard the debate for years as to if it is quicker to level solo or in a group. Personally, I've always been the solo leveler. That way, you don't have to wait on your partner, you don't waste time chatting, no coordination with them is required, all you have to do is watch the little arrow that QuestHelper displays and go with it.

3. Run some Battlegrounds. I ran them for the first time on my level 70 Warlock the other day, and I must say Blizzard is giving some nice experience points now for them! I ran just 3 or 4 times and gained several bars. Probably about the same rate as I would have questing.

4. Buy some Heirloom items! These are amazing! The shoulders give 10% bonus experience and the chest piece gives 10% bonus experience. And the effects do stack! So I would suggest doing this for every alt that you decide to level. I usually go and run a few Wintergrasp runs and get a pair of shoulders for my toons. This combined with rested XP gives a serious boost to your leveling! And if you're a raider or do the Ardent Tournament, then you can also get the chest piece for some serious leveling boost!

This is my list of the 5 worst things I see in the game almost daily.

5. Be rude. You might think it's fun to sound like a racist, perverted 12 year old, but nobody else does.

4. Whine. Nobody likes a whiner. If you lose a roll on some gear you need to someone else that needs it, don't cry. You'll get it next time.

3. YELL. ALL THE TIME.

2. Beg. Don't stand in a city yelling, "CAN SUM1 PLZ GIVE ME 3 GOLD!" Nobody is going to do it, and it's just annoying. If you're too lazy to make money on your own, go play another game.

1. Being a ninja. Taking that which doesn't belong to you is never a good idea. And it's the quickest way to become hated in WoW.

I have found one thing that is the most important thing in the entire game while playing.
Have fun!
If you sit there grinding for a rare pet or ore for 6 hours straight without talking to anyone or taking a break, you're gonna get annoyed and burn out really fast.
If sit there and grind a character all the way to 80 in a week, playing for 8 hours a day or whatever, you're going to be annoyed with the toon and not play it when you get to 80. This is one reason I try to keep 3 or 4 alts at all times that I'm leveling. That way, if I get burned on one character, I can put him in the inn, take a break from him and work on one of the other ones. Right now, I'm working on a Warlock, a Mage, and a Shaman all at the same time, rotating out when one of them gets annoying.

Top 8 ways to make some extra gold in World of Warcraft

Just a quick rundown of what I prioritize when I'm grinding for gold.

1. Do your Dailies.

2. Scan the Auction House with Auctionator and buy low/sell high.

3. Run some Instances/Raids.

4. Create a "farmer". A character with two of the gathering professions. I prefer Herbalism/Mining.

5. Professions. Enchanting and Jewelcrafting both make good money. Use your farmers to feed them. Also, if you have another profession that you are leveling (blacksmithing, tailoring, or leatherworking) feed all the greens and blues that you make to the Enchanter to disenchant the items. Then sell the disenchants.

6. Buy up low level greens and disenchant them. Auctionator/ Enchantrix is a good combo for this. Use them to determine if the Disenchant is worth more than the auction price of the item, then fire away.

7. Don't throw anything away! Keep up with all your grays and vendor them. If you run out of bag space, check the vendor price before you start dropping things.

8. Hock your wares in trade chat. Usually you can get a pretty decent idea of what something is worth with Auctionator, then start asking 1.5X what the list price is. Usually it will sell for a little more than auction house price this way, especially if you will deliver it.

     Another great money making idea is selling vanity pets. These come in all shapes and styles. And since Blizzard implemented the Achievement system, people are buying some of them for ridiculous amounts to get Shop Smart, Shop Pet...Smart and Lil' Game Hunter.

     Shop Smart gives you Reeking Pet Carrier, which summons a cute little skunk named Stinker. Lil' Game Hunter gives you Little Fawn's Salt Lick, which summons a little fawn. And due to these, there is a great market for these pets.
   One thing that you can make some good money with is cross faction pets. What I usually do is go to the neutral auction house, buy out all the opposite faction's pets that are listed there, and resell them in my faction's auction house for a profit. Also, be sure to buy some of your own faction's pets to sell on the neutral auction house as well. Before doing this, make sure you have Auctioneer and Auctionator installed. They will help immensely.
     Another thing to do is farm for the really rare pets. The newer raptor pets have been selling pretty well on my server. Also, look into farming for the Disgusting Oozeling and the Captured Firefly. They both have ridiculously low drop rates, but sell for a massive amount when found. Overall, though, farming these pets doesn't really have that great of a gold per hour rating, especially since, for an example, I have farmed the Captured Firefly once for over 5 hours without a single drop. Then the next day, come back and get it within a few kills. I have never had a drop of the Disgusting Oozeling, which is one of the 2 rarest pets in the game. The other is the Hyacinth Macaw.

Another thing that I have done is the past is this: run the hell out of Wintergrasp when I hit 80 on a fresh toon. It's a good, quick way to get some decent gear.

Alternate this with Daily Heroics and you'll be geared out in no time and ready to tackle some of the harder stuff. Also, with both of these, there's no out of pocket expense to gear up, except for gems and enchantments, both of which can usually be purchased with the money earned from running said Instance/Wintergrasp.

Today I would like to discuss grinding. STOP GRINDING ICECROWN!!! Yes, I know titanium sells great, but with all the competition, is it really worth it on a gold per hour rate?

Not really. I have been making a small fortune on my server farming for mithril and thorium ore in Un'Goro Crater. People still need the mid-level mats, but nobody wants to go that far out of their way to farm them for themselves. So, there's almost no competition, and they sell for a good bit.

Grind for your herbs in Storm Peaks. Much less competition and it's the same herbs that are in Icecrown.

Auction House tips 4/15/2010

     Today, I am going to be discussing the Auction House, another great source of extra income if you know how to use it.

     One of the best tools that I've found for running the Auction House effectively is the Auctionator addon. This little gem does some amazing things. One of the first things to do when you first start learning to use this tool is to find items that sell very well on your server and then re-sell that item. To do this, first you'll have to find out what sells well on your server. Most enchanting materials are a good place to start. Otherwise, just observe the trends on your server for something to sell.

   Then, for example purposes I'll use Dream Dust. Go to the "Buy" tab in the Auction House after installing the Auctionator addon and search for Dream Dust. Find, in the listing that comes up, the median price. This will be the price where a majority of the items are listed. Then, buy out everything selling for less than that. Then repost the items at the median price, which, if you use the "sell" tab, will set your auctions just under the median, thereby undercutting the competition. Have fun!

     I have recently been scouring the Internet searching for some of the best pay services for World of Warcraft. I have gotten tired of all of the "free" sites that offer the exact same content as every other site, so I have been reviewing some of the better paid guides around in hopes of finding some great ones.
